Lenore Avery Gray, Thorntown route 1, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Black, yesterday at 11 o'clock. She had been suffering from a heart ailment for the past three months. Born near Darlington April 26, 1895, she was a daughter of Eligah and Sarah Norris Avery. In 1912 she was married to John Gray who survives. She was a member of the Antioch Christian church. Surviving with the husband are a son, Walter of near Mulberry; two daughters, Mrs. Black and Mrs. Willard Weese of route 7, Frankfort. There are four grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Antioch church, with the Rev. A. M. Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Bunnell cemetery. Friends may call at the L. E. Moore and Son funeral home here after 2 p.m. today.
